We presented a bit of an unusual circumstance in that after Megan and I searched for a home in the Arlington/Fairfax areas for a year or so, my husband Frank and I made plans to move to Florida. I was retired and relocated in 2011; Frank continued to work in Virginia. Megan went out of her way to find the appropriate apartment for our relocation transition both rate and location wise. Prior to my move to Florida, Megan spent hours assisting me selecting colors, carpets and other flooring materials in order to make necessary renovations to the condo. She and Frank then tackled the other preparatory processes of moving. While many of these tasks fell to Frank, it turned out some of the most difficult ones fell to Megan (and her husband bless his heart). I recall Megan calling one night saying her husband had just succeeded in finding a holder for our front door knocker; an item Frank had been searching for for months to enable us to take the existing knocker with us. It had been a gift from dear friends that we did not want to leave behind. Megan, we will always be so grateful for your perseverance! And she orchestrated and executed the entire closing process between Virginia and Florida to effect the conveyance of the property.
